SCOUT

The Mantis Scout kit empower students to discover, experiment, and invent the ideas of the future. Integrate with MakeCode or Scratch to make programs that take full advantage of the Scouts many on board sensors. Create code that allows the Scout to follow lines drawn on a given surface or make specific decisions based on colors it detects on the driving surface through the use of its onboard color sensors.

Each Scout is shipped with a MODISHIELD- IR(infrared) distance measuring IMU(inertial measuring unit)sensor that adds enormous sensing capabilities. Through the use of the MODISHIELD, programers will be able to create code that allows the Scout robot to make decisions based distance measuring, acceleration, and tilt level.
